Teaching Equity in Landscape Architecture

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ (Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ) is the organization's foundational document that can help educators guide intentional conversations about the importance of eradicating systems and structures within the landscape architecture profession and larger design community. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ recognizes that such systems have resulted in limited opportunities and recognition of the deserving Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) professionals who¡¯ve led and produced important, ground-breaking, and honorable work.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ has a long-standing history of providing close examinations of these systems and structures through its publications. We invite educators and students to explore topics such as gentrification and displacement, diversity, equity, environmental justice, and inclusive design in Landscape Architecture Magazine, The DIRT, and Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Interviews.

Learn more about Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ's Career Discovery and Diversity efforts on the DE&I Hub.
